Forecr RAIBOX-AGX NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin EN 50155 Railway Computers
The Forecr RAIBOX-AGX series is a family of railway computers built around the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin module, in 32GB, 64GB and Industrial versions. Each carries eight GMSL2 camera inputs on FAKRA connectors, 10G and Gigabit Ethernet, isolated CAN, serial and digital I/O on M12 connectors, a 10-36V DC input and an IP67 enclosure designed to meet EN 50155, so the RAIBOX-AGX series suits rolling-stock, trackside and railway surveillance deployments.
- Jetson AGX Orin Compute: Every model runs an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin module with 256-bit LPDDR5x memory under Ubuntu Linux with JetPack 5.x or 6.x.
- Eight GMSL2 Camera Inputs: 8x GMSL2 inputs on FAKRA connectors bring distributed onboard cameras straight into the Jetson for multi-stream video analytics.
- 10GbE and Isolated Field I/O: 1x 10G and 1x Gigabit Ethernet on X-coded M12 sit with 2x isolated CAN, 2x isolated RS-232/422/485 and 4-in/4-out isolated DIO on A-coded M12.
- Railway Standards Design: Designed to meet EN 50155, EN 45545-2 HL3, EN 61373, EN 60068 and IP67 for onboard rolling-stock and trackside installation.
- 10-36V DC and Cellular Expansion: A 10-36V DC input, two M.2 Key-M SSD slots, two M.2 Key-B sockets with two SIMs and M.2 Key-E for wireless.

RAIBOX-AGX Description
Running AI on a train means the computer has to cope with constant shock and vibration, a supply that moves with the vehicle, dust and water ingress, and the fire-safety rules that apply to everything fitted in a carriage. The Forecr RAIBOX-AGX series is built for that brief: railway computers that put the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin module inside an enclosure designed to meet EN 50155, EN 45545-2 HL3, EN 61373, EN 60068 and IP67, aimed at predictive maintenance, video analytics and autonomous railway operations.
Every RAIBOX-AGX shares one set of interfaces. Eight GMSL2 camera inputs on FAKRA connectors sit alongside one 10G Ethernet port, one Gigabit Ethernet port, one USB 3.0 Type-C port, three USB 3.0 Type-A ports and an HDMI 2.0 output at up to 3840 x 2160. Field wiring runs through two isolated CAN bus ports, two isolated RS-232/422/485 ports and four isolated digital inputs and outputs. Every field connector is a Phoenix Contact M12: X-coded for both Ethernet ports and A-coded for power, serial, CAN and digital I/O. Two M.2 Key-M slots take SSDs, two M.2 Key-B sockets and two SIM slots carry LTE or 5G modems, and an M.2 Key-E socket adds WiFi and Bluetooth. Power comes from a 10-36V DC input, and each unit runs Ubuntu 20.04 or 22.04 with JetPack 5.x or 6.x. A 6-axis IMU and temperature sensor on the board add data for condition monitoring.
The range splits by module. The RAIBOX-AGX-32S carries the Jetson AGX Orin 32GB with 32GB of 256-bit LPDDR5x memory, sized for camera analytics and perception models with moderate memory needs. The RAIBOX-AGX-64S moves to the Jetson AGX Orin 64GB, doubling memory for larger models and more concurrent camera streams. The RAIBOX-AGX-64I fits the Jetson AGX Orin Industrial module, the configuration Forecr rates for -40°C to +70°C ambient, for unheated vehicles and trackside cabinets. All three share the same enclosure, interfaces and power input, so the choice comes down to model size and operating temperature rather than wiring.
Typical work for the RAIBOX-AGX includes onboard video analytics, support for train control and signaling systems, and trackside monitoring, with security and surveillance, industrial automation, energy and agriculture as further fits. The 322 x 222 x 101 mm enclosure carries the railway standards above, covering railway electronics, fire protection, shock and vibration, environmental testing and ingress, which keeps these railway computers in line with what rolling-stock integrators specify and lets one design serve both onboard and trackside roles.

Official Forecr USA Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Forecr USA distributor, and the RAIBOX-AGX series is the Jetson AGX Orin range in Forecr's railway line, built for rolling stock and trackside sites that need multi-camera AI on the vehicle. The RAIBOX-ORNX is the lower-power railway alternative on Jetson Orin NX with four GMSL inputs, the DSBOX-AGXMAX houses AGX Orin in a compact industrial box with 10G SFP+ networking for cabinets and machine bays, and the MILBOX-AGX takes the same module into Forecr's rugged fanless design for military-grade deployments.
Across our catalog, the RAIBOX-AGX family sits with our railway-grade computers for rolling-stock and trackside programs, where EN 50155 and EN 45545-2 shape the hardware choice. Its IP67 design places it with our sealed IP67 computers for installs exposed to dust, water and weather, and pairing AGX Orin with eight GMSL2 cameras also puts it among our rugged Jetson computers for video analytics and inspection work in harsh settings. Every model in the series shares the same interfaces, so programs can standardize on one design.
