RAIBOX-AGX-64S Overview
Multi-camera analytics on a train fills memory quickly: every extra stream adds buffers, and larger detection and tracking models need room to stay resident. The RAIBOX-AGX-64S meets that with the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 64GB module in a railway computer from the Forecr RAIBOX-AGX series, designed to meet EN 50155 for onboard installation.
With 64GB of 256-bit LPDDR5x memory, the Jetson AGX Orin 64GB doubles the memory of the 32GB module, giving room for concurrent video analytics, sensor fusion and predictive maintenance models on the vehicle itself. The RAIBOX-AGX-64S runs Ubuntu 20.04 or 22.04 with JetPack 5.x or 6.x, so existing Jetson software moves across without a rewrite.
Camera capture runs through eight GMSL2 inputs on FAKRA connectors, routed to the module by an 8-channel camera adapter board. One 10G Ethernet port and one Gigabit Ethernet port carry network traffic, while two isolated CAN bus ports, two isolated RS-232/422/485 ports and four isolated digital inputs and outputs connect the train systems. Local access comes through one USB 3.0 Type-C port, three USB 3.0 Type-A ports and an HDMI 2.0 output. Every field connector is a Phoenix Contact M12: X-coded for both Ethernet ports and A-coded for power, serial, CAN and digital I/O. Storage sits on two M.2 Key-M slots, two M.2 Key-B sockets and two SIM slots handle LTE or 5G, an M.2 Key-E socket takes WiFi and Bluetooth, and the supply is 10-36V DC.
Forecr designs the enclosure to meet EN 50155, EN 45545-2 HL3, EN 61373, EN 60068 and IP67, and the unit measures 322 x 222 x 101 mm. The -40°C rating applies with the Industrial module only, so installs facing extreme cold should look at the RAIBOX-AGX-64I. The RAIBOX-AGX-64S is a railway computer for onboard video analytics, train monitoring and surveillance on rolling stock and in depots.

Official Forecr USA Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Forecr USA distributor, and the RAIBOX-AGX-64S is the 64GB standard-module model in Forecr's railway line, aimed at larger models and more camera streams. The DSBOX-AGXMAX places AGX Orin in a compact industrial box with 10G SFP+ networking, the MILBOX-AGX carries the module in Forecr's rugged fanless design, and the RAIBOX-ORNX covers rail installs that call for Jetson Orin NX and a lower power budget instead. All of them run NVIDIA JetPack, so models trained once can move between them.
Across our catalog, the RAIBOX-AGX-64S belongs among our railway computers for rolling-stock and depot work, and among our edge AI computers because its 64GB module keeps multi-camera inference on the vehicle. Its IP67 design also places it with our IP67 computers for installs exposed to dust, water and weather, from carriage equipment bays to trackside enclosures. With 64GB on board and eight GMSL2 inputs, it covers multi-camera analytics without an extra compute unit on the vehicle.
