Neousys MezIO-V20 Ignition Power Control MezIO Module with USB Mini PCIe Socket

Compact computers are often chosen for vehicles because space behind a dashboard or under a seat is tight. They still need to follow the ignition, and they often need a cellular or GPS card as well. The MezIO-V20 is part of the Neousys MezIO-V20/V21 series of ignition power control MezIO modules, and it pairs ignition control with a full-size mini PCIe socket on a USB 2.0 interface, with a SIM socket alongside.

The module provides ignition power control with predefined power-on and power-off delay modes, selected on a rotary switch on the rear panel, and an ultra-low 12 mA standby draw with the ignition off. Low-battery protection shuts the system down if the input stays below 11 V on a 12 V supply or 18 V on a 24 V supply for 60 seconds. Guarded delays cancel a start or shutdown if the ignition changes back, and a system hard-off cuts power 10 minutes after the off delay if a soft shutdown fails. Where the card you plan to fit needs PCIe as well as USB, the MezIO-V21 has a mini PCIe socket with both.

We fit the MezIO-V20 inside the Neousys system on its high-speed board-to-board connector with three-point mezzanine mounting, install any mini PCIe card you specify, set the ignition delay mode and test the build before it ships. Each system has one MezIO interface. The MezIO-V20 fits the POC-900, POC-700 and POC-700-FT compact computers, and the Nuvo-9000LP and Nuvo-11000LP computers.

For the Nuvo-9000E/P/DE, Nuvo-11000E and the Nuvo GC computers, the MezIO-V20-EP provides the same style of ignition control without the mini PCIe socket.
