A vision cell or surveillance cabinet with four IP cameras usually needs a PoE switch or injectors as well as a computer, which adds wiring and another box to power. The NUVO-9531-PoE removes that step by supplying 802.3at PoE+ from all four of its 2.5GbE ports. It is the PoE+ build of the Neousys NUVO-9531 series of compact fanless industrial PCs, 63 mm tall with a socketed Intel 14th/13th/12th Gen Core processor.
Processors from the Celeron G6900E to the Core i9-14900 run on the H610E chipset, giving the NUVO-9531-PoE up to 24 cores and 32 threads for multi-stream decoding, inspection algorithms or video analytics. One DDR4-3200 SODIMM takes up to 32 GB and dTPM 2.0 is on board.
The four 2.5GbE ports by Intel I226-IT share a 100 W PoE+ budget, enough for four standard PoE+ cameras, and use screw-lock retention. Four screw-lock USB 3.2 Gen1 ports add USB3 cameras, while 4-channel isolated DI and DO, a software-programmable RS-232/422/485 port and further RS-232 ports handle triggers, strobes and PLC signals. Recorded video can sit on the hot-swappable 2.5-inch tray, separate from the M.2 2280 NVMe system drive at PCIe Gen4 x4. Two mini PCIe sockets with SIM slots and an M.2 E key socket take wireless modules. For cameras with their own power, the NUVO-9531 is the standard build.
Power is 8 to 48 V DC with optional ignition control. The NUVO-9531-PoE runs fanless from -25 °C to 60 °C with 35 W processors, with an optional fan kit recommended for 65 W parts above 50 °C, and vibration and shock are tested to MIL-STD-810G. The 2.4 kg chassis mounts on a wall or, with the optional kit, on a DIN rail.

Neousys recommends its optional fan kit only for 65 W parts above 50 °C. The hot-swap tray also keeps recorded footage easy to retrieve on site.
