NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier Module NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier 32GB Module with 32 TOPS and Volta GPU

The Jetson AGX Xavier Module is the standard 32GB version in the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier series, with 32 TOPS from a 512-core Volta GPU, an 8-core Carmel CPU and 32 GB of LPDDR4x. NVIDIA lists it through July 2027, so it suits production runs and replacements in existing AGX Xavier designs.

  • 32 TOPS Volta GPU: 512 CUDA cores and 64 Tensor Cores at up to 1.37 GHz deliver 32 TOPS and 10 TFLOPS for multi-network inference.
  • 32GB LPDDR4x and 32GB eMMC: A 256-bit LPDDR4x interface and 32 GB of eMMC 5.1 hold large models and the OS image on the module.
  • 8-Core Carmel CPU: Eight Armv8.2 Carmel cores at up to 2.26 GHz with 4 MB of shared L3 cache handle pre-processing and control.
  • 16 CSI Lanes and PCIe Gen4: The 699-pin connector carries 16 MIPI CSI-2 lanes, PCIe Gen4 up to x8 and three USB 3.1 ports.
  • Listed Through July 2027: NVIDIA lists the 32GB module through July 2027; the Jetson AGX Orin is the successor for new designs.

Jetson AGX Xavier Module Overview

Production builds and replacement orders on the AGX Xavier usually need the exact module the design was validated with. The Jetson AGX Xavier Module is the standard 32GB version in the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier series, next to the Jetson AGX Xavier 64GB and the Jetson AGX Xavier Industrial, and suits teams maintaining robotics, vision and edge AI systems built around the AGX Xavier connector.

NVIDIA rates the module at 32 TOPS and 10 TFLOPS from a 512-core Volta GPU with 64 Tensor Cores at up to 1.37 GHz, alongside an 8-core Carmel Armv8.2 CPU at up to 2.26 GHz. Two Vision Accelerator engines and the Deep Learning Accelerator take computer vision and CNN inference work off the GPU. Memory is 32 GB of 256-bit LPDDR4x with 32 GB of eMMC 5.1, and maximum module power is 30 W from a 9.0 to 20.0 V system input, with an integrated thermal transfer plate and heatpipe.

On its 699-pin board-to-board connector, the Jetson AGX Xavier Module exposes 16 MIPI CSI-2 lanes, PCIe Gen4 in x8, x4, x2 and two x1 configurations, three USB 3.1 and four USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, two CAN interfaces and five UARTs, with HDMI 2.0, DP 1.4 and eDP 1.4 outputs.

NVIDIA lists the Jetson AGX Xavier 32GB as available through July 2027, and states that an official end-of-life notice is sent at least eight months before the last shipment. The standard module is rated from -25 to 80 °C with a five-year operating lifetime in 24×7 use. For new designs the Jetson AGX Orin is the successor: NVIDIA quotes up to 275 TOPS and notes that pin compatibility with the AGX Xavier depends on UPHY usage. Our Jetson Xavier and TX2 end-of-life guide covers last-time-buy planning and the move to Orin.
