Premio BCO-1000-EHL-10-U Elkhart Lake Celeron J6413 DIN Rail Embedded PC with 8x USB Ports

Kiosks and ticket machines gather USB peripherals quickly: a card reader, a printer, a scanner, a camera and often a license key. The BCO-1000-EHL-10-U is the Elkhart Lake Celeron J6413 DIN rail embedded PC with 8x USB ports in the Premio BCO-1000-EHL-10 series, giving each of them a port.

Under the BCO-1000-EHL-10-U sits the quad-core Intel Celeron J6413, an Elkhart Lake processor running at 1.8 GHz with up to 10 W TDP, paired with one DDR4 SODIMM socket for up to 32 GB at up to 3200 MT/s. Intel UHD Graphics drives the DisplayPort 1.4 outputs at up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz, and TPM 2.0 is fitted for secure boot and disk encryption. Kiosk and point-of-service software runs comfortably on the BCO-1000-EHL-10-U, with the two DisplayPorts free for a customer screen and a status display.

The Universal I/O slot on the BCO-1000-EHL-10-U carries a four-port USB module, which joins three USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and one USB 2.0 port for eight USB ports in total. The base I/O adds two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs and two RS-232/422/485 ports, plus one 2.5GbE port on the Intel I225, one GbE port on the Intel I210, two internal CAN 2.0 A/B headers, a 2.5 inch SATA bay, mSATA and an M.2 B-key slot with an external SIM socket for 4G/LTE.

Power comes in at 9 to 36 V DC on a 3-pin terminal block with protection against over-voltage, over-current and reverse polarity. Premio rates the BCO-1000-EHL-10-U from -20 °C to 50 °C and lists UL, CE and FCC Class A, and the 142 x 101.2 x 41.5 mm enclosure wall mounts as standard, with an optional DIN rail kit. For serial devices instead of USB, the BCO-1000-EHL-10-B adds two COM ports, and the BCO-1000-EHL-10-A adds a third screen.
