FCCBCO-500-2L-N305 Overview
When a small fanless box has to drive more than one content stream or run a few services together, extra cores matter more than clock speed. The Premio BCO-500-2L-N305 is the eight-core Intel Core i3-N305 model of the BCO-500 series, a semi-rugged fanless embedded PC with dual 2.5GbE, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and two COM ports.
The Intel Core i3-N305 is an eight-core, 15 W Alder Lake-N processor, giving twice the cores of the N97 for multi-stream signage, local dashboards or several services on one box. One DDR5 4800 SO-DIMM socket takes up to 16 GB, and storage is a SATA SSD in an M.2 B-Key socket (2242, 2280 or 3042). TPM 2.0 and a watchdog are built in, and Windows 11 and Linux are supported.
Two Intel I225-V 2.5GbE ports sit beside four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, COM1 for RS-232/422/485 and COM2 for RS-232 on DB9, and a line-out jack. A DisplayPort 1.4a output at 4K 60 Hz and an HDMI 1.4b output drive two independent displays. An M.2 E-Key socket takes optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, with six antenna holes ready on the enclosure.
Power is 12 to 36 V DC through a locking DC jack with AT and ATX modes, and an AC/DC adapter is optional. The BCO-500-2L-N305 runs fanless from -10 °C to 45 °C, is designed to comply with MIL-STD-810H for shock and vibration, and is UL listed to UL 61010-1 and UL 61010-2-201, with CE, FCC Class A, UKCA, VCCI and RCM. Wall and VESA mounting are supported, with a DIN-rail kit optional. We supply it configured and tested, with memory, the SSD, the OS image and any Wi-Fi module fitted. The BCO-500-2L-N97 uses the same build with a four-core 12 W Intel N97 and a 50 °C ceiling, and the BCO-500-MTL-125U steps up to a Core Ultra 5 with an NPU and three 2.5GbE ports.
