WCO-6000-THR-A-T5000-PoE Overview
An autonomous vehicle or large mobile robot can carry many cameras and still need to talk to its drive controllers, which puts pressure on both port count and power budget. The WCO-6000-THR-A-T5000-PoE is the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor T5000 rugged IP66 computer with 4x 10GbE PoE+ M12 in the Premio WCO-6000-THR-A series, and it covers both needs with four powered 10GbE ports and four CAN FD ports. It runs Ubuntu 24.04 with JetPack 7.2, so WCO-6000-THR-A-T5000-PoE builds can start from NVIDIA’s standard software stack.
The T5000 module combines a 14-core Arm Neoverse-V3AE 64-bit CPU with 128 GB of LPDDR5X and is rated at up to 2070 FP4 sparse TFLOPS at 120 W. That memory headroom can hold several large perception and language models at once, which is useful when a vehicle runs detection, tracking and planning on the same computer. Premio lists two thermal modes: 77 W TDP from -20 °C to 50 °C and 120 W TDP from -20 °C to 40 °C, both with a 120 W PoE load.
Networking is all M12 X-coded: four 10GbE ports on Marvell AQR113 controllers, each with 25 W PoE+ from the 120 W module, plus two 2.5GbE ports on Intel i226. Eight waterproof Fakra-Z connectors accept optional GMSL2 cameras, and two RS-232/422/485 ports and 7 in/7 out isolated DIO use M12 A-coded connectors, alongside four CAN FD ports for vehicle buses. A 2280 NVMe SSD sits in the M.2 M-key slot, while M.2 B-key and E-key slots with a dual SIM socket take 4G/5G and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth modules.
Power arrives at 24 to 48 V DC through an M12 K-coded connector, with ignition sensing, AT/ATX modes and over-voltage, over-current and reverse protection. The WCO-6000-THR-A-T5000-PoE is IP66 rated, fanless, and designed to comply with MIL-STD-810H for shock and vibration, with UL 62368-1, FCC Class B and CE listed plus EMC conformity with EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2. If the cameras have their own supply, the WCO-6000-THR-A-T5000 keeps the T5000 module and CAN FD without the PoE module, and the WCO-6000-THR-A-T4000-PoE offers three PoE+ ports on the T4000 module.
