Premio ACO-6000-CML 10th Gen Intel Core Rugged In-Vehicle Computer Systems with Universal I/O

A vehicle is a hard place for a computer: the supply sags on cranking, the ignition switches it on and off many times a day, and every camera, modem and screen wants its own port. The Premio ACO-6000-CML series answers that brief with in-vehicle computer systems that pair 10th Gen Intel Core and Xeon processors with ignition management and a modular I/O scheme, so one fanless design can serve a patrol car, a bus depot gateway or a rail vehicle.

Every ACO-6000-CML model uses an LGA1200 socket on the Intel W480E chipset, taking 35 W or 65 W processors from Core i3-10100TE to Core i9-10900E or Xeon W-1290TE, with up to 64 GB of DDR4 including ECC. The fixed I/O is generous: two GbE ports, eight RS-232/422/485 ports, 8 in/8 out isolated DIO, two CAN 2.0 A/B headers, nine USB 3.2 ports, DVI-I plus two DisplayPort outputs for three screens, and three 2.5 inch SATA bays (two hot-swappable) with RAID 0, 1 and 5. Two Universal I/O brackets then take modules for extra GbE or PoE, 10GbE, USB or 5G, which is how the range is built.

The ACO-6000-CML leaves both brackets free. The ACO-6000-CML-4L and ACO-6000-CML-8L add four or eight RJ45 GbE ports, while the ACO-6000-CML-4LM12 and ACO-6000-CML-8LM12 carry four or eight ports on screw-locking M12 connectors. For cameras, the ACO-6000-CML-4P and ACO-6000-CML-8P provide four or eight RJ45 PoE ports, and the ACO-6000-CML-4PM12 and ACO-6000-CML-8PM12 do the same on M12. The ACO-6000-CML-D10G adds two 10GbE ports, the ACO-6000-CML-4U3 and ACO-6000-CML-8U3 add four or eight USB ports, and the ACO-6000-CML-5G carries an M.2 5G module with two SIM sockets.

Typical ACO-6000-CML deployments include onboard video recording, passenger information, fleet telematics and emergency vehicle data hubs. Power comes in at 9 to 48 V DC, with a 48 to 110 V DC board on the -110V models, and PC/Car mode and delay time switches control how the computer starts and shuts down with the ignition. The series runs fanless from -25 °C to 70 °C with 35 W or 65 W processors and lists CE, FCC Class A and E-Mark, plus EMC conformity with EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2, which makes these in-vehicle computer systems a reasonable fit for rolling stock as well as road vehicles.
