Sintrones IBOX-602P-IP66 NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX IP66 Waterproof AI Computers with PoE and GMSL

Cameras on vehicle exteriors, trackside masts and outdoor plant rarely sit near a sealed equipment cabinet, yet the inference compute that serves them usually expects one. The Sintrones IBOX-602P-IP66 series closes that gap with waterproof AI computers that move NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX inference out to the camera: an IP66-sealed fanless enclosure with PoE on both LAN ports and two GMSL-2 camera inputs, so compute can live beside the sensors it serves.

Every IBOX-602P-IP66 pairs a Jetson Orin NX module, built around a 1024-core NVIDIA Ampere GPU, with JetPack 6.2 and an M.2 2280 NVMe SSD for the system image and local recording. One 2.5GbE port on an Intel I226-IT controller and one GbE port both supply PoE at 15.4 W per port within a 32 W budget, on M12 X-coded connectors, so IP cameras or LiDAR draw power from the same cable as data. Two GMSL-2 inputs on FAKRA connectors take vehicle-grade cameras, while CAN FD, RS-232/422/485 and three digital inputs with four digital outputs sit on M8 connectors. M.2 Key B with a dual nano SIM tray and M.2 Key E carry optional 4G or 5G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The IBOX-602P-IP66 series spans two builds that share every interface and differ in module. The IBOX-602P-IP66-ONX16 carries the Orin NX 16GB module with an 8-core CPU and two NVDLA accelerators for larger vision models and more concurrent streams. The IBOX-602P-IP66-ONX8 runs the Orin NX 8GB module with a 6-core CPU and one NVDLA accelerator, for single-stream and lighter inference where the sealed enclosure matters more than model size.

Across the range, a 9-60 V DC M12 K-coded input with ignition management, surge and reverse polarity protection runs from 12 V, 24 V or 48 V vehicle systems, and Sintrones offers an optional battery kit that holds the system up for 5 to 10 minutes after power loss. A built-in heater supports start-up from -40 °C, with operation from -35 °C to 60 °C under full GMSL-2 and PoE load. The 150 x 138 x 66 mm enclosure is rated IP66, tested to MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration, and compliant with EN 50155 and EN 45545-2 (R25), so these waterproof AI computers suit outdoor security, rail and in-vehicle vision.
