Sintrones IBOX-650P-T1 NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin In-Vehicle Computers with 1000BASE-T1

Modern vehicles are moving sensors and controllers onto automotive Ethernet, where 100BASE-T1 and 1000BASE-T1 run over a single twisted pair to cut cable weight. A computer with only RJ45 or M12 ports needs a media converter to join that network. The Sintrones IBOX-650P-T1 series removes the converter: these vehicle computers pair NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin compute with a native 100/1000BASE-T1 port on an H-CMTD connector, alongside the M12 Ethernet and CAN FD that existing vehicle equipment uses.

Every model shares one architecture. The Jetson AGX Orin module comes as a 64GB version with 2048 CUDA cores, a 12-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU and 64 GB of LPDDR5, rated by Sintrones at up to 275 TOPS, or a 32GB version with 1792 CUDA cores, an 8-core CPU and 32 GB. Beside the T1 port sit one Marvell 10GbE and two Intel 2.5GbE ports with IEEE 802.3at PoE+ at 30 W, all on X-coded M12 connectors. A 64 GB eMMC holds the pre-installed BSP for JetPack 6.2 or above, an M.2 2280 slot takes an NVMe SSD, and M.2 Key B with Nano SIM, M.2 Key E and full-size mPCIe slots carry WWAN, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and GNSS modules.

Four models make up the range. The IBOX-650P-T1-01-JAO64 and IBOX-650P-T1-01-JAO32 add the VDB-101 camera board with four GMSL-2 inputs on FAKRA connectors, for surround or forward-facing cameras wired straight to the module. The IBOX-650P-T1-JAO64-LE and IBOX-650P-T1-JAO32-LE leave the camera board out and take sensor data over the T1, Ethernet and CAN FD links. In each pair, the 64GB module gives headroom for larger models and sensor fusion, and the 32GB module covers lighter perception loads.

Across the series, the vehicle computers run fanless from -25 °C to 70 °C in an IP40 aluminum enclosure for mounting inside the vehicle. They are tested to MIL-STD-810H and IEC 60068-2-64 for vibration and shock, and Sintrones lists CE, FCC Class A, UKCA, E-Mark, EN 50155 and EN 45545-2 (R25). The 9 to 60 V DC input covers 12, 24 and 48 V systems with smart power management, a watchdog and an optional backup battery, and Jetson Orin module availability is listed through January 2032. The IBOX-650P-T1 series suits ADAS development, V2X, rail and fleet AI deployments.
