Sintrones SBOX-2603 AMD Ryzen R2312 Fanless Industrial Mini PC with Dual GbE and 4G/5G Expansion

Digital signage, kiosks and small gateways rarely need much compute, but they do need several screens, a cellular link and a computer that will sit quietly in a closed enclosure. The Sintrones SBOX-2603 is an industrial mini PC for those jobs, with three display outputs, dual GbE and room for 4G or 5G in a 176 x 140 x 52 mm fanless enclosure.

Compute is an AMD Ryzen Embedded R2312 with two cores and four threads and AMD Radeon Graphics, with up to 32 GB of DDR4-2400 on one SO-DIMM, ECC support with ECC memory and TPM 2.0. The SBOX-2603 drives a single-link DVI-D output and two HDMI 2.0b outputs at up to 4K at 60 Hz, and supports Windows 10 and 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC and Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.

Networking is two Intel I210-AT GbE ports on RJ45, with an M.2 Key B slot for 4G or 5G with dual SIM and an M.2 Key E slot for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Two RS-232/422/485 ports, a GPIO port with four inputs and four outputs at 5 V TTL, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB 2.0 ports and line-out and mic-in audio cover peripherals. Storage is an M.2 2280 NVMe or SATA SSD and a 2.5-inch SATA SSD.

Power is 12 V DC through a DC jack, which suits a mains adapter or a regulated 12 V supply. The SBOX-2603 runs fanless from -30 °C to 60 °C with an SSD and 0.6 m/s airflow, weighs 1.3 kg and wall-mounts as standard, with optional VESA and DIN rail kits. It carries CE, FCC Class A and UKCA compliance, which suits it to signage, kiosk and light gateway work indoors or in sheltered enclosures.
