Vecow ACS-1200 Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ-9075 In-Vehicle AI Computer with 16 GMSL Camera Inputs, Up to 100 TOPS and -40 to 70 °C

Surround-view, driver assistance and autonomy test vehicles tend to need many automotive cameras feeding one computer with low latency. The Vecow ACS-1200 is the all-GMSL build of the ACS-1000 series, an in-vehicle AI computer with 16 GMSL camera inputs on mini Fakra-Z connectors, which suits multi-camera perception and data-logging work.

Inside, the ACS-1200 runs the Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ-9075 module, with an octa-core Kryo Gen 6 CPU, an Adreno 663 GPU and 36 GB of LPDDR5 on board, and Vecow rates the IQ9 at up to 100 TOPS of AI performance. That headroom can run detection on every camera stream on board rather than over a mobile link. Storage starts with 128 GB of UFS on board, and the system runs Qualcomm Linux on a Yocto-based BSP.

The camera side carries 16 GMSL camera inputs on mini Fakra-Z connectors. Networking is two 2.5GbE ports and four Gigabit PoE+ ports on an Intel I350 controller, so IP cameras can draw power from the computer itself. Three DisplayPort outputs, two USB 3.1 Type A ports, two RS-232/422/485 COM ports, two isolated CAN FD ports and 16-bit isolated DIO cover driver screens, the vehicle bus and on-board signals. Expansion is M.2 NVMe on PCIe x4, two M.2 Key B sockets with two nano SIMs for optional 5G or 4G LTE, an M.2 Key E socket for optional Wi-Fi, two front-access SSD trays and micro SD.

Power is 9 to 50 V DC on a three-pin terminal block, with 16-mode software ignition control so the ACS-1200 starts and shuts down with the vehicle. It runs fanless from -40 °C to 70 °C, with MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration, CE and FCC marks and a design to EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 requirements. Out-of-band management is available on the -OOB build, and a TPM is optional. For a different camera mix, the ACS-1100 takes eight TVI analog cameras instead, and the ACS-1200-OOB adds a fitted Allxon out-of-band module.
