Vecow PE-3004L Intel I350 4-Port Gigabit 802.3at PoE+ LAN Expansion Card with Low-Profile Bracket

Small industrial computers often offer only low-profile PCIe slots, and a four-camera PoE card still has to fit them. The PE-3004L is Vecow’s four-port Gigabit PoE+ LAN expansion card for those hosts: it supports half-height and full-height brackets, so the same card fits a compact box PC or a full-size system. We supply it configured and tested, with the card fitted in the host and the PoE load checked against the cameras.

One Intel I350 controller drives all four RJ45 ports as independent Gigabit Ethernet links at 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps. The host interface is PCI Express x4. The same controller family runs the full-height PE-3004, so a project that mixes compact and full-size hosts can stay on one Ethernet controller.

Each port complies with IEEE 802.3at and supplies up to 25.5 W at 48 V DC, with PoE on/off control and four LEDs for PoE+ status. PoE power comes from one 4-pin 12 V ATX connector, so the host power supply needs a spare lead and enough headroom for the camera load. Where cameras need more than PoE+, the PE-6004H moves to 802.3bt PoE++ on four 2.5GbE ports.

Vecow rates the PE-3004L from -25 °C to 55 °C. Up to a 75 W PoE load it runs without airflow, and at 100 W it needs air moving across the slot, which is worth checking in a sealed fanless host. Storage runs from -40 °C to 85 °C, with humidity from 5% to 95% non-condensing. Vecow lists Windows 11 and Linux support, and the datasheet shows CE and FCC under EMC with the RoHS mark.
