Vecow RAC-1000-R64 NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 64GB IP67 Waterproof Computer with 275 TOPS, 8 GMSL Cameras and 9-50V DC

Mobile robots and autonomous machines tend to grow their camera count and model size as a project matures. Starting with the larger module avoids a hardware change halfway through. The Vecow RAC-1000-R64 is the Jetson AGX Orin 64GB camera build of the RAC-1000 series, an IP67 waterproof computer rated at up to 275 TOPS with eight GMSL inputs.

A 12-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU works alongside a 2048-core Ampere GPU with 64 Tensor Cores, two NVDLA engines and 64 GB of LPDDR5. That gives headroom for larger segmentation and detection models, sensor fusion and planning on one unit, which can save a second compute node on the machine. Hardware HEVC encode supports recording or streaming camera feeds alongside inference. We supply the RAC-1000-R64 with JetPack 6 on Ubuntu 22.04 and the storage fitted, configured and tested for the application.

The rear panel carries eight FAKRA-Z connectors for GMSL1 or GMSL2 cameras, the M12 DC input, two isolated CAN FD ports on one M12 A-coded connector and two M12 COM ports for RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485. At the front are two Gigabit Ethernet ports on M12 X-coded connectors, two sealed USB 3.1 Type-A ports and a sealed HDMI 2.1 output at up to 4K at 60 Hz. Storage is two M.2 Key M sockets plus 64 GB of eMMC 5.1, and a PCIe Gen 3 x8 slot is available by request.

Power is 9 to 50 V DC with 16-mode software ignition control. Vecow rates the fanless unit from -25 °C to 70 °C in 30 W mode and to 55 °C in 50 W mode, each with 0.63 m/s airflow, with MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration testing and EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 compliance listed. The RAC-1000-IND moves to the AGX Orin Industrial module, and the RAC-1100-R64 trades the cameras for four PoE+ ports.
