Vecow RAC-1100-IND NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin Industrial 64GB IP67 Waterproof Computer with 4x PoE+, Isolated CAN FD and 9-50V DC

Long-service machinery often goes to tender with the industrial module named in the specification, and with Ethernet sensors rather than GMSL cameras. The Vecow RAC-1100-IND covers that combination. It is the AGX Orin Industrial PoE build of the RAC-1000 series, an IP67 waterproof computer with 64 GB of memory and four M12 PoE+ ports.

The NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin Industrial module has a 12-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU, a 2048-core Ampere GPU with 64 Tensor Cores, two NVDLA engines and 64 GB of LPDDR5, rated at up to 248 TOPS. In practice, that is enough for detection, tracking and fusion across several network cameras or lidar units. We supply the RAC-1100-IND with JetPack 6 on Ubuntu 22.04 and the storage fitted, configured and tested with the sensor load the application needs.

LAN 3 to LAN 6 are IEEE 802.3at Gigabit PoE+ ports at 25.5 W each on M12 X-coded connectors, sharing a budget of 60 W at 25 °C or 30 W at 70 °C. LAN 1 and LAN 2 add two more M12 Gigabit ports. Two isolated CAN FD ports share one M12 A-coded connector, two M12 COM ports cover RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485, and the front adds two sealed USB 3.1 Type-A ports and a sealed HDMI 2.1 output at up to 4K at 60 Hz. Storage is two M.2 Key M sockets and 64 GB of eMMC 5.1, with a PCIe Gen 3 x8 slot available by request.

Power is 9 to 50 V DC on a K-coded M12 connector, with 16-mode software ignition control. Vecow rates the fanless unit from -25 °C to 70 °C in 30 W mode and to 55 °C in 50 W mode, each with 0.63 m/s airflow, with MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration testing and EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 compliance listed. The RAC-1000-IND takes eight GMSL cameras on the same module, and the RAC-1100-R64 uses the standard 64GB module.
