Vecow RAC-1100-R32 NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 32GB IP67 Waterproof Computer with 4x PoE+, 6x GbE and Wide Temperature

Not every machine uses GMSL cameras. Many use Ethernet IP cameras or lidar, which need power and data on one sealed cable. The Vecow RAC-1100-R32 is the PoE build of the RAC-1000 series on the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 32GB: an IP67 waterproof computer with four M12 PoE+ ports, so the sensors draw power straight from the unit without a separate switch.

The module has an eight-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU, a 1792-core Ampere GPU with 56 Tensor Cores, two NVDLA engines and 32 GB of LPDDR5, rated at up to 200 TOPS. That handles detection and tracking across four network camera streams with room for a second model. We supply the RAC-1100-R32 with JetPack 6 on Ubuntu 22.04 and the storage fitted, and we can set up the camera network and test the PoE load before it ships.

LAN 3 to LAN 6 are Gigabit PoE+ ports to IEEE 802.3at at 25.5 W each on M12 X-coded connectors, with a total PoE budget of 60 W at 25 °C and 30 W at 70 °C. LAN 1 and LAN 2 are further Gigabit ports on M12. Two isolated CAN FD ports share an M12 A-coded connector, two M12 COM ports handle RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485, and there are two sealed USB 3.1 Type-A ports and a sealed HDMI 2.1 output at up to 4K at 60 Hz. Storage is two M.2 Key M sockets and 64 GB of eMMC 5.1, with a PCIe Gen 3 x8 slot by request.

Power is 9 to 50 V DC on a K-coded M12 connector with 16-mode software ignition control. Vecow rates the fanless unit from -25 °C to 70 °C in 30 W mode and to 55 °C in 50 W mode with 0.63 m/s airflow, with MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration testing and EN 50155 compliance. The RAC-1100-R64 moves to 64 GB, and the RAC-1000-R32 has eight GMSL inputs instead of PoE.
