Winmate FM07E 7″ Vehicle Mount Computer with Intel Atom x6413E and MIL-STD-810G

A forklift terminal is often specified once and then kept for years, so the processor and operating system need a long support life as well as enough speed for today’s WMS client. The FM07E is Winmate’s 7 inch vehicle mount computer for that kind of fleet, built around an Intel Atom x6413E with a 7″ 1024 x 600 PCAP touch screen. Winmate names warehouse logistics, fleet management and forklift operations as its intended uses.

The Elkhart Lake Atom x6413E runs at 1.5 GHz with bursts to 3 GHz. Memory is 4 GB as standard with 8 or 16 GB as options, and storage is a 128 GB M.2 2242 SSD with 256 or 512 GB as options. TPM 2.0 is on board, with Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC or Linux Ubuntu 22.04 available. The 1000 nit display has 800:1 contrast and 85 degree viewing angles, and five programmable function keys sit below it, which keeps the FM07E quick to use with gloves.

I/O covers one Gigabit LAN port on an M12 connector, two USB ports through a DB9, a micro USB port, one RS-232/422/485 port, two CANBus ports and five digital inputs with three digital outputs, plus a micro SIM slot. WLAN, Bluetooth and GPS/GLONASS are built in, with 4G/LTE as an option. Within the Winmate range the FM07 is the same 7 inch computer with a Celeron N3350 or Pentium N4200, and the FM10Q9 is a 10.4″ Android terminal with a Qualcomm QCS6490 where a larger screen suits the task.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC with ignition control and a 35 W maximum, and a 1.8 m M12 power cable is supplied. The fanless housing is rated IP65 dustproof and waterproof, is compliant with MIL-STD-810G Method 516.6 shock and Method 514.6 vibration, and runs from -20 to 60 °C. It mounts on a RAM bracket and carries CE and FCC marks. We supply the FM07E configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
