Winmate FM10AD-V 10.4″ IP65 Vehicle Mount Computer with Intel Core i5-1235U and PCAP Touch

A forklift cab leaves little room for a screen, yet the warehouse software on it keeps getting heavier. The FM10AD-V is Winmate’s 10.4 inch vehicle mount computer with an Intel Core i5-1235U, packing Alder Lake performance into a compact IP65 terminal for forklifts and yard vehicles.

The Intel Core i5-1235U runs at up to 4.4 GHz, leaving headroom for warehouse management clients, dashboards and several open applications. It ships with 8 GB of DDR5 (up to 32 GB), a 128 GB NVMe SSD (256 GB optional), a microSD slot, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise and TPM 2.0. The 10.4 inch 4:3 display runs at 1024 x 768 with 400 nits as standard and 800 nits as an option, 1200:1 contrast and 176° viewing. Projected capacitive multi-touch works with a stylus and with gloves, and six programmable function keys below the screen give drivers shortcuts they can hit without looking.

I/O covers a Gigabit LAN port that can be specified as a 30 W IEEE 802.3at PSE to power a camera, USB Type-C and USB 2.0 ports, and two RS-232/422/485 ports on DB9 with 5 V on pin 9 for serial scanners, with CANBus and two-in, two-out DIDO as options. WLAN and Bluetooth are built in, with LTE or 5G Sub-6 WWAN on a dual nano-SIM slot and GPS/GLONASS as options. The FM10E-V offers the same 10.4 inch format on a lower-power Atom, and the FM12AD-V moves the Core i5 to a 12.1 inch screen.

Power is 10 to 60 V DC with ignition control, covering 12, 24 and 48 V vehicle supplies. The IP65 waterproof and dustproof enclosure measures 268 x 214 x 51 mm, weighs 2.4 kg and fits RAM or VESA mounts. It operates from -30 to 50 °C at 5 to 95% humidity, is compliant with MIL-STD-810H Methods 516.8 and 514.8, and carries an IK07 impact rating. The unit carries CE and FCC marks, with UL60950-1, EN60950-1, PTCRB and IC (ICES-003) listed.
