FCCR12L600-MRM2HB Overview
Consoles on bridge wings and open decks see direct daylight in the day and darkness at night, so one screen has to cover both. The R12L600-MRM2HB is Winmate’s 12.1 inch high brightness marine panel mount monitor: a 1024 x 768 XGA display at 1000 nits with resistive touch, an IP66 front and a dimming knob that takes the backlight almost to zero.
The panel pairs its 1000 nit backlight with a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 178° viewing angles, so the picture holds for crew standing to the side. The resistive touch screen works with gloves and connects over RS-232 or USB, and AR glass is available as an option. An eight-key front OSD panel handles settings, and the knob adjusts brightness from nearly 0% to 100%.
Inputs are VGA, DVI-D, composite and S-Video, with picture-in-picture so a camera feed can sit over a chart. A separate RS-232 port allows remote control. The R12L600-MRM2 is the 500 nit version of this chassis with DNVGL-CG-0339, IEC 60945 and IACS E10 certification, and the R15L600-MRM2 offers the resistive marine design at 15 inches.
Power is isolated 24 V DC, with 9 to 36 V DC acceptable and AC power as an option, drawing 35 W typical. The R12L600-MRM2HB is fanless, operates from -15 to 55 °C at 5 to 95% humidity and withstands 15 G shock. Its powder-coated metal housing has an IP66 front and IP54 rear, measures 337 x 293.2 x 70.8 mm, weighs 4 kg and fits a 307 x 253 mm cut-out or 75 x 75 mm VESA. It carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate names marine bridge systems, shipboard automation and offshore operations.
