FCCR15L100-MRC3HB Overview
A bridge display has to be bright enough for a sunlit wheelhouse and dim enough not to spoil night vision on watch. The R15L100-MRC3HB is Winmate’s 15 inch marine display, pairing a 1000 nit panel with a dimming knob that takes the backlight from nearly 0% to 100%, in a flush panel mount housing with an IP66 front.
The 15 inch LCD runs at 1024 x 768 with 1000 nits, a 2000:1 contrast ratio, 16.2M colors and 176° viewing angles. A resistive touch screen is fitted as standard, with AR glass available as an option. Eight front keys control the on-screen display, source selection and picture-in-picture alongside the dimming knob.
The rear carries VGA, DVI-D, composite and S-Video inputs, so navigation charts and camera feeds can share one screen using picture-in-picture. An RS-232 port handles remote control and an RS-232/USB port handles touch. The R21L100-MRM1 offers the same marine approach on a 21.3 inch 1600 x 1200 panel, and the W24L100-MRA1 moves to a 24 inch widescreen.
Power is a 24 V DC isolated input that accepts 9 to 36 V DC, with AC power as an option, and typical consumption is 40 W. The monitor operates from -15 °C to 55 °C at 5 to 95% humidity, withstands 15 G shock for 11 ms and is vibration rated at 0.7 g to DNVGL CG-0339 Class A. Winmate states that its marine displays are built and tested according to DNVGL-CG-0339, IEC 60945 and IACS E10. It measures 412 x 345 x 79.7 mm, weighs 6.5 kg, fits a 338 x 288 mm cut-out or 75 x 75 mm VESA holes, and carries CE and FCC marks.
