Machine builders and kiosk makers often want one open frame they can specify for both indoor and brighter sites without changing the enclosure. The W10L100-POH2 is Winmate’s 10.1 inch open frame touch monitor for that: a 1280 x 800 LCD with projected capacitive multi-touch in a fanless open metal frame, with a 1000 nit panel available as an option.
The standard WXGA panel runs at 350 nits with an 800:1 contrast ratio, 16.7 million colors and viewing angles of 170° horizontally and vertically. Specifying the 1000 nit option keeps the screen readable near windows or under strong lighting. The PCAP touch screen connects over USB, supports multi-touch, and can take an optional anti-glare coating. The active area measures 216.96 x 135.6 mm.
Video comes in on a VGA input, and HDMI or DVI can be specified as options, along with a 3.5 mm audio line-in and two speakers. A five-key on-screen display menu sits on the rear. The W10L100-POH2-C is the single-cable USB Type-C version, and the W10L100-POA1 steps up to a 1920 x 1200 panel.
The W10L100-POH2 runs on 12 V DC, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter supplied, and operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, with storage from -10 °C to 60 °C. The open frame fixes by 75 x 75 mm VESA holes or panel mounting brackets, and the monitor carries CE and FCC marks. We confirm the frame dimensions from Winmate’s current drawing at quotation stage. Winmate supplies VGA and HDMI cables, an AC adapter, a power cord and VESA screws with the monitor.
