Winmate W12MG3S-GSB1 12.3″ Full IP65 Rugged Panel PC with 6-Core MediaTek Genio 510 and MIL-STD-810H

Some HMIs sit on outdoor equipment where the screen space is long and shallow and the supply comes from a battery rather than a mains adapter. The W12MG3S-GSB1 is Winmate’s 12.3 inch G-WIN GS panel PC for that kind of install: sealed to IP65 all round, with M12 connectors, a 12.3″ 1920 x 720 projected capacitive touchscreen at 1000 nits and a 10 to 60 V DC input with ignition control.

Processing comes from a MediaTek Genio 510, a six-core Arm processor with two Cortex-A78 and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz, with 4 GB of LPDDR4, 32 GB of onboard storage and a Micro SD slot. Android 13 is the default operating system, with Yocto Linux (kernel 5.15.47 with Qt 5.15) or Ubuntu 22.04 as options. That suits HMI front ends, status displays and data collection more than heavy local processing, and the low power draw lets the 12.3 inch housing stay fanless.

Standard connections are one Gigabit LAN and one USB 2.0 port on M12 connectors, plus one USB Type-C OTG port. Options include an RS-232/422/485 port, two CANbus ports and six digital inputs on M12, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, 4G LTE with a SIM slot, and GPS/GLONASS. M12 power and USB/LAN cables are supplied. The W12MG3S-GCB1 is the same 12.3 inch size in the G-WIN GC housing, rated IP65 at the front on 12 V DC, and the W10MG3S-GSH2 is a 10.1 inch GS model on 12 V DC.

The unit operates from -20 °C to 60 °C at 5 to 95% humidity, stores from -30 °C to 70 °C and is tested to MIL-STD-810H Method 516.8 for shock and Method 514.8 for vibration. It mounts on VESA and carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate aims the GS range at manufacturing and outdoor kiosks, and we supply the W12MG3S-GSB1 configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
