Winmate W15L100-PPA2HB 15.6″ PCAP Panel Mount Monitor with 1300 Nit HD Display and 500:1 Contrast

On an automation panel or a kiosk front, the display usually has to fit a cut-out, cope with splashes at the front and connect to a separate industrial PC or controller. The W15L100-PPA2HB is Winmate’s 15.6 inch panel mount touch monitor for that installation: a 15.6″ 1366 x 768 WXGA projected capacitive touchscreen, sealed to IP65 at the front.

The 1366 x 768 panel runs at 1300 nits with 500:1 contrast and 170 degree horizontal and 160 degree vertical viewing angles. At 1300 nits the panel is sunlight readable, so it typically stays legible near windows and under strong lighting. The widescreen 1366 x 768 format suits simple HMI layouts and information screens. Projected capacitive multi-touch reports to the host computer over USB, so swipe and pinch gestures work through the glass.

Video comes in over VGA as standard, with HDMI and DVI as options, and a single USB port carries touch back to the computer. An audio line-in and two speakers are optional. Five keys (minus, plus, power, Esc and Enter) run the on-screen menu for brightness and input settings. Within the Winmate range, the W15L100-PPA4 is the full HD 15.6 inch version at 400 nits, and the W22L100-PPA3HB is the 21.5 inch 1000 nit model in the same panel mount style.

Power is 12 V DC, with a 24 V DC input as an option, and the monitor comes with VGA and HDMI cables, a 100 to 240 V AC to DC adapter and a power cord. The 15.6 inch monitor runs fanless from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, stores from -10 °C to 60 °C and carries CE and FCC marks. It fits a panel cut-out or a VESA mount.
