FCCW18L100-OFA2 Overview
Larger kiosks and machine consoles need a bigger built-in screen without a bezel that fights the enclosure design. The W18L100-OFA2 is Winmate’s 18.5 inch open frame monitor for that: a 1366 x 768 LCD in a fanless open metal frame, with resistive touch, surface acoustic wave touch or protection glass available as options.
The panel runs at 450 nits with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 16.7 million colors and viewing angles of 170° horizontally and 160° vertically. Resistive touch works by pressure, so it responds to gloved fingers and a stylus, and SAW touch is offered as the alternative, with either option connecting over USB. Without touch, the protection glass option shields the panel. The active area measures 409.8 x 230.4 mm.
Video comes in on a VGA input, and HDMI or DVI can be specified as options, along with a 3.5 mm audio line-in and two speakers. A five-key on-screen display menu sits on the rear. For brighter sites the W18L100-OFA2HB is the 1000 nit version, and the W18L100-OFA3HB pairs 1000 nits with a 1920 x 1080 panel.
The W18L100-OFA2 runs on 12 V DC, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter supplied, and operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, with storage from -10 °C to 60 °C. The frame measures 451 x 278 x 48 mm, weighs 4 kg and fixes by rear mounting or 75 x 75 mm VESA holes, and the monitor carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate supplies VGA and HDMI cables, an AC adapter, a power cord and VESA screws with the monitor.
