A standard 250 nit monitor can turn unreadable the moment sunlight falls across it, which is a problem for kiosks, gate terminals and machine panels near open doors. The W22L100-EHB1OD is Winmate’s 21.5 inch answer: a panel mount PCAP touch monitor with a 1000 nit display, built to stay readable in bright conditions.
The 1920 x 1080 panel runs at 1000 nits with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 16.7 million colors and viewing angles of 90° in every direction, so the image holds up when people read it from the side. Projected capacitive multi-touch connects over USB for light-touch control, and Winmate offers a UV film option to protect the display from solar radiation in direct sunlight.
Video comes in over VGA as standard, with HDMI and DVI inputs available as options, plus an optional 3.5 mm audio line-in and a pair of optional speakers. A five-key OSD panel on the rear handles brightness and setup. If the install needs a chassis rather than a panel mount, the W22L100-GCB1OD carries the same 1000 nit PCAP panel in a plastic bezel with a metal back cover, and the W24L100-EHC1OD is the 23.8 inch version of this monitor.
Power is 12 V DC, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter in the box. The fanless unit measures 550 x 360 x 60 mm and weighs 6.4 kg. It fits a 506 x 310.3 mm panel cut-out or mounts on 75 x 75 or 100 x 100 mm VESA holes. It operates from -10 °C to 60 °C, or from -25 °C with the heater option, at 10 to 90% humidity, and carries CE and FCC marks.
