SDVoE systems carry uncompressed 4K video over 10G Ethernet, and a recording or streaming computer often needs to take a feed straight from that network. The SC710N1-L SDVoE-F is Yuan’s PCIe SDVoE capture card for this, receiving one SDVoE stream over a 10G SFP+ connection and capturing it at up to 4096 x 2160 at 60/50 fps. Yuan describes it as an SDVoE decoder card with 4:4:4 10-bit HDR support.
Capture modes cover 4096 x 2160 and 3840 x 2160 at 60, 50, 30, 25 and 24 fps, 2560 x 1440 at 144 fps and 1920 x 1080 at up to 240 fps, down to standard-definition 480i and 576i. Color formats are RGB24, RGB32, YUY2, YV12 and NV12 at 8-bit, plus P010 at 10-bit. Audio arrives embedded in the SDVoE stream as 16-bit stereo at 32 to 48 kHz.
The card uses PCIe x4 Gen2, supports multiple instances and multiple devices in one host, and adds an HDMI 2.0 loop-through for a local monitor. On-board processing covers cropping and scaling, deinterlacing and auto signal detection, and Yuan provides a Windows and Linux SDK with DirectShow and V4L2 support. The SC710N1-L SDVoE-C takes the same stream over a 10G copper RJ45 port, and the SC720N4 SDVoE-F captures four SDVoE inputs at 4K60 on one card.
Yuan lists Windows, Linux, Linux ARM and NVIDIA Jetson TX2, Nano, AGX Xavier and Xavier NX support. We supply the SC710N1-L SDVoE-F tested in the host computer it goes into, with drivers and capture software installed, so it is ready to capture when it arrives.
