Yuan SDI 4×1 Switch 4×1 SDI Switcher with Frame Synchroniser, Genlock and Up/Down Conversion at 1080p60

Small studios, OB racks, lecture capture and control rooms often need to pick one of several SDI sources for a recorder, stream encoder or program monitor without a full production switcher. The SDI 4×1 Switch from Yuan covers that job in broadcast and pro AV systems. It is a four-input SDI switcher with a built-in frame synchroniser, so the output is designed to stay stable when the selected source changes.

The SDI 4×1 Switch has four SDI inputs, one reference input for black burst or tri-level sync, and two SDI outputs carrying up/down-converted video. Inputs and outputs support 3G-SDI at 1080p60/50, HD-SDI at 1080p30/25/24, 1080i60/50 and 720p60/50, and SD-SDI at 480i and 576i, with the output format set independently of the input. Genlock runs in free-run or external sync mode. Up to eight channels of 24-bit, 48 kHz embedded audio pass through, and audio is muted during switching.

Control is by DIP switch, USB, front-panel button or RS485, so the switch can be operated by hand or from a control system. Power comes from a 7.5V to 15V DC input. When operators need to watch all four sources at once, the Multiviewer QUAD SDI shows them on one screen.
