Yuan Multiviewer QUAD SDI Four-Input SDI Multiviewer with Quadview, PIP, PBP and OSD at 1080p60

Broadcast galleries, OB racks, sports venues and control rooms often need to watch four SDI cameras or feeds on a single monitor. The Multiviewer QUAD SDI from Yuan is built for that job in broadcast, live production and pro AV monitoring. It is a four-input SDI multiviewer that combines the sources into one layout and outputs it to HDMI, VGA and SDI at the same time.

There are four SDI inputs supporting 3G-SDI at 1080p60/50, HD-SDI at 1080p30/25/24, 1080i60/50 and 720p60/50, and SD-SDI at 480i and 576i. Outputs are one HDMI, one D-Sub VGA and two SDI ports, all up/down converted. SDI and HDMI outputs run 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480i and 480p at 59 fps, and VGA runs up to 1600 x 1200. Up to eight channels of 24-bit, 48 kHz embedded audio pass from the SDI inputs to the HDMI and SDI outputs.

Layouts include Quadview, PIP, PBP and full-screen switching, set with front-panel buttons and an on-screen display, with input and output formats chosen independently. Power comes from a 7.5V to 15V DC input. For HDMI sources, the Multiviewer QUAD HDMI offers the same layouts with four HDMI inputs. When a single program output is needed rather than a monitoring view, the SDI 4×1 Switch selects one of four SDI sources through a frame synchroniser. To record all four feeds, the SC550N4 SDI PCIe card captures four SDI inputs into one PC.

In practice the Multiviewer QUAD SDI sits in the rack beside the sources. We supply it configured and tested with the cameras, displays and recorders it will connect to, with the layout and output format set before it ships.
