UB570G PRO HDMI Overview
Recording a presenter, a camera or a computer screen usually has to happen without taking the display away from the person using it. The UB570G PRO HDMI is Yuan’s USB HDMI capture card, a USB 3.0 unit with its ProAV Scaler and an HDMI loop-through output, so the source stays on its own screen while a laptop or PC captures it.
The HDMI input captures up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 or 50 fps. Over USB 3.0 the card delivers YUY2 video at 1920 x 1200, 1920 x 1080, 1280 x 1024, 1280 x 720 and lower resolutions at up to 60 fps. Audio comes from HDMI embedded audio or a 3.5 mm analog stereo input at 16-bit 48 kHz, so the recording can take the source sound or a separate microphone feed. The 1920 x 1200 input suits computers running at WUXGA as well as 1080p cameras.
The card connects through a USB 3.0 Type B port as a UVC device, so software that supports UVC capture can open it. On a USB 2.0 host it falls back to 640 x 480 at 30 fps and 720 x 576 or 720 x 480 at 25 fps. The UB575G HDMI adds 1080p120 and 4K30 input, and the UB570G PRO HDMI2.0 HDR HID+ moves to HDMI 2.0 with 4K60 input.
Operating system support covers Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 in 32-bit and 64-bit, Linux and macOS. That suits lecture capture, training rooms and product demonstrations where the host machine varies and the presenter must keep their screen. A single USB cable to the host keeps the setup quick to move between rooms, and the loop-through means the presenter’s display needs no separate splitter.
