Advantech SKY-QUAD-4000B-24 NVIDIA RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell 24GB Single-Slot Workstation GPU with 140W Blower Cooling

The SKY-QUAD-4000B-24 is the NVIDIA RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell from Advantech, a single-slot, full-height workstation GPU with 24 GB of GDDR7 ECC memory, 8,960 CUDA cores and 37 TFLOPS FP32 on PCIe 5.0 x16 at 140 W. Suits multi-GPU builds and chassis where slot space is tight.

  • Single-Slot Full-Height Card: One slot wide with an active blower, so more cards or other expansion fit alongside it in the chassis.
  • 24GB GDDR7 with ECC: A 192-bit memory interface at 672 GB/s, with error correction for long rendering, simulation and AI runs.
  • Blackwell GPU with 8,960 CUDA Cores: 280 Tensor Cores with FP4 acceleration and 70 RT Cores, rated at 37 TFLOPS single-precision performance.
  • 4x DisplayPort 2.1b: Drives four 3840 x 2160 displays at 165 Hz or two 7680 x 4320 displays at 100 Hz, with NVIDIA Mosaic support.
  • 140W on PCIe 5.0 x16: Powered through one 16-pin PCIe connector, with a 1x PCIe 8-pin adapter cable included for standard power supplies.

SKY-QUAD-4000B-24 Overview

Slot space often sets the limit in a GPU computer before power does, especially where several cards or capture and network cards share the chassis. The SKY-QUAD-4000B-24 is the NVIDIA RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell from Advantech, a single-slot, full-height workstation GPU with 24 GB of GDDR7 and ECC at a 140 W maximum. It suits AI, design and visualization builds where each slot counts.

The Blackwell GPU has 8,960 CUDA cores, 280 fifth-generation Tensor Cores with FP4 acceleration and 70 RT Cores, with single-precision performance rated at 37 TFLOPS. Memory runs on a 192-bit interface at 672 GB/s. Family features include DLSS 4 with Multi-Frame Generation, ninth-generation NVENC and sixth-generation NVDEC engines for video encoding and decoding, and NVIDIA Mosaic for spanning displays. The datasheet does not list Multi-Instance GPU support for this card.

The SKY-QUAD-4000B-24 connects over PCI Express 5.0 x16 and has four DisplayPort 2.1b outputs, driving four 3840 x 2160 displays at 165 Hz or two 7680 x 4320 displays at 100 Hz. It supports DirectX 12, Shader Model 6.6, OpenGL 4.6 and Vulkan 1.3, with CUDA 12.8, OpenCL 3.0 and DirectCompute. Power comes through one 16-pin PCIe connector, with a 1x PCIe 8-pin adapter cable included. An active blower cools the card and exhausts heat through the bracket, which helps when cards sit next to each other.

We supply each card tested, and we fit, configure and burn-in test the SKY-QUAD-4000B-24 in the GPU computers and servers we build. For low-profile chassis, the SKY-QUAD-4000SB-24 uses the same GPU core count at 70 W from the slot. The SKY-QUAD-4500B-32 adds memory at 200 W, and the SKY-QUAD-4000A-20 is the Ada generation single-slot card.
