Arestech PPC-N157 15" Intel Core i5-7200U or i3-7100U Industrial Panel PCs with Front IP66 Aluminum Bezel

A panel PC on a machine or kiosk front has to take splashes and cleaning at the face while the electronics behind it stay cool without a fan. The Arestech PPC-N157 series is built for that: a family of 15 inch fanless industrial panel PCs with an aluminum front cover sealed to IP66, a 300 nit 4:3 XGA LCD at 1024 x 768 with a 600:1 contrast ratio and 160° viewing angles horizontally and vertically, and Intel Core i5-7200U or i3-7100U processors.

Every PPC-N157 shares the same computer. It has two DDR4-2133 SO-DIMM sockets for up to 32 GB, an M.2 2280 socket and two internal 2.5-inch SATA bays with RAID 0 and 1, two GbE ports on Intel i219V and i211AT controllers, four USB 3.0 ports, three RS-232 ports and one RS-232/422/485 port, DisplayPort and HDMI 2.0a outputs up to 4K for a second screen, line-out and mic-in and 8-bit digital I/O. A full-size Mini-PCIe socket with a SIM slot and an M.2 2230 E-key socket for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth take optional 4G and wireless modules, and the operating system support covers Windows 10 IoT. The compute suits SCADA clients, MES terminals and HMI software with several windows open.

The PPC-N157 series offers the PPC-N157P-1A1 (Intel Core i5-7200U, PCAP), the PPC-N157P-2A1 (Intel Core i3-7100U, PCAP), the PPC-N157R-1A1 (Intel Core i5-7200U, 5-wire resistive) and the PPC-N157R-2A1 (Intel Core i3-7100U, 5-wire resistive). Power is 9 to 36 V DC on a two-pin Phoenix terminal block, at 14.7 W typical. The series is fanless and operates from -20 °C to 60 °C with extended-temperature memory and storage fitted, at 5 to 95% humidity. It is vibration-tested from 5 to 500 Hz at 2.16 Grms and carries CE and FCC Class A marks. The 15″ panel PC measures 386 x 316 x 69 mm, weighs 4.2 kg and mounts in a 346 x 276 mm panel cut-out or on 75 x 75 and 100 x 100 mm VESA. Arestech names HMI, factory automation, ATM and self-service kiosks and vending and ticketing machines as the target applications.
