Arestech TPM-3617 17" IP66 316 Stainless Steel Touch Monitors with M12 Connectors and IP69K Option

Washdown areas are hard on displays: hot water, high pressure and cleaning chemicals find any gap around the glass or any standard connector at the rear. The Arestech TPM-3617 series is built for that routine, a family of 17 inch stainless steel touch monitors in brushed 316 grade stainless with a true-flat front, sealed to IP66 as a complete unit, with IP69K protection offered as an option. The glass sits flush with the bezel, so there is no lip where residue can collect, and the connectors are sealed to the same standard as the enclosure.

Every TPM-3617 shares the same build. The SXGA LCD at 1280 x 1024 runs at 350 nits with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 170° horizontal and 160° vertical viewing angles and a rated 50,000 hour life. Connections are sealed at the rear: VGA and the USB touch interface on M12 connectors, HDMI on an IP67 waterproof connector and 12 to 24 V DC power on M12, drawing 22 W. Six OSD keys cover menu, up, down, auto adjust, power and a function key. The 17″ monitor measures 439 x 373 x 66.9 mm and weighs 7.71 kg, with 75 x 75, 100 x 100 and 200 x 100 mm VESA patterns and a yoke mount.

The TPM-3617 series splits on touch. The TPM-3617P-B6A1 uses a projected capacitive touch screen with a 7 Mohs surface and a touch on/off button, for bare-finger operation. The TPM-3617R-B6A1 uses a 5-wire resistive screen with a 3 Mohs surface and 80% transparency that responds to gloved hands, the usual choice where operators keep gloves on at the line. Optional 2 m M12 and IP67 cables and a 12 V M12 power supply carry signals and power to an industrial PC in a remote cabinet.

The series operates from -20 °C to 60 °C at 5 to 95% humidity, is vibration-tested from 5 to 500 Hz at 2.16 Grms on three axes.
