ASRock Industrial 4X4 BOX-7535U/D5 AMD Ryzen 5 7535U 4×4 NUC PC with 2.5GbE and GbE

A rollout of kiosks or information screens across many sites is usually decided on cost per unit and on how easily each unit fits behind a display. The 4X4 BOX-7535U/D5 from ASRock Industrial targets that with a six-core AMD processor in a 110.0 x 117.5 x 47.85 mm case. It is the Ryzen 5 model in the 4X4 BOX 7000U-D5 series of small form factor industrial PCs.

It runs an AMD Ryzen 5 7535U with six cores and a maximum speed of up to 4.55 GHz, with AMD Radeon Graphics for video playback and dashboards. Two 262-pin SO-DIMM sockets take up to 64 GB of dual channel DDR5 4800, more than most signage and kiosk software needs, so memory can be sized to the application.

Networking is a Realtek RTL8125BG 2.5GbE port and a Realtek RTL8111EPV GbE port with DASH, which supports remote management across a fleet, and a Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 module comes fitted in the M.2 Key E socket. Display output is HDMI 2.1 at up to 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz, a DisplayPort 1.4a output and two USB4 Type-C ports with DisplayPort 1.4a, for up to four screens. A USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A port and two USB 2.0 ports add peripherals. Storage is an NVMe SSD on M.2 Key M with PCIe Gen4 x4 plus a SATA3 port, and power comes from a 19 V adapter.

The 4X4 BOX-7535U/D5 is rated from 0 °C to 40 °C, uses active fan cooling in a plastic case and mounts on the back of a display with the supplied VESA bracket. TPM 2.0, a hardware watchdog and CE and FCC compliance come as standard, and Windows 10 and 11 are supported. The 4X4 BOX-7735U/D5 moves to an eight-core Ryzen 7, while the 4X4 BOX-7535U/D5 is the small form factor industrial PC for cost-led rollouts.
