ASRock Industrial iBOX-1185G7E Intel Core i7-1185G7E Tiger Lake Fanless NUC PC with 2.5GbE and RS232

Some edge displays do more than play a loop. A video wall controller, an interactive kiosk with a camera, or a quality station that shows live images while logging results all load the processor and the graphics at the same time. The ASRock Industrial iBOX-1185G7E is the Core i7 fanless industrial PC in the iBOX 1100 range, with the most compute headroom of the four Tiger Lake models.

The Intel Core i7-1185G7E is a quad-core 11th Gen Tiger Lake-UP3 processor with boost up to 4.4 GHz and Intel Iris Xe graphics. Two DDR4 3200 MHz SO-DIMM sockets accept up to 64 GB in dual channel, so a content engine, a local database and an inspection or analytics task can share the unit. Intel vPro and AMT on the I219LM port allow remote power control and recovery without a site visit.

Display output is HDMI 2.0a, DisplayPort 1.4 and two USB-C ports with DP 1.4, for up to four screens at 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz. Networking pairs the Intel I219LM GbE port with an Intel I225LM 2.5GbE port. Four USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, two USB 2.0 and an RS-232 COM port connect cameras, scanners and controllers. Storage is an M.2 Key M socket with PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe or SATA3 plus a SATA3 port, and an M.2 Key E slot with CNVi takes Wi-Fi. A 19 V, 90 W adapter supplies power, with AT or ATX start.

The iBOX-1185G7E is a fanless industrial PC with no moving parts, rated from 0 to 40 °C, CE and FCC Class A compliant and fitted with TPM 2.0. It mounts on the supplied VESA bracket or on a wall. The iBOX-1145G7E keeps vPro with a Core i5, and the iBOX-1265UE moves to a 12th Gen Core i7.
