AVerMedia D115S NVIDIA Jetson Orin Super Mode Fanless Box PCs and Carrier Board

Super Mode raises the AI throughput of Orin NX and Orin Nano modules, but only when the carrier, power and cooling are designed to support it. The AVerMedia D115S series is the D115 design built for that, running modules in normal or Super Mode on a 12-24 V DC input. The D115S series also adds an onboard TPM 2.0, headers for an optional out-of-band module and a 40-pin daughter-board connector, so security and remote recovery are part of the board rather than an afterthought.

Every D115S product shares one board. Two MIPI CSI-2 connectors with four lanes each, on 22-pin FPCs, take embedded cameras directly. Two GbE RJ45 ports handle cameras and uplink, with optional PoE on Ethernet 1 and out-of-band traffic over NC-SI on Ethernet 2. Two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports run at a native 10 Gbps each, one HDMI output runs at 4K and USB-C handles recovery. M.2 M-key 2280 and E-key 2230 sockets take NVMe storage and optional Wi-Fi, and the 20-pin header carries CAN, two UARTs, two I2C buses and four GPIO lines. AVerMedia publishes JetPack 6.2 board support packages on Ubuntu 22.04.

The D115S range covers two finished boxes and the board. The D115SOXP is the fanless box PC with a Jetson Orin NX 16GB or 8GB, rated at up to 157 TOPS or 117 TOPS in Super Mode and 100 TOPS or 70 TOPS standard; it runs from -25 °C to 40 °C in Super Mode and -25 °C to 60 °C in normal mode. The D115SONP takes an Orin Nano 8GB, rated at up to 67 TOPS in Super Mode and 40 TOPS standard, and keeps -25 °C to 60 °C in both modes. The D115S is the bare carrier board, rated from -40 °C to 85 °C, whose 40-pin connector also takes an optional video capture daughter board.

In practice the D115S series suits multi-camera security, retail analytics, traffic monitoring and connected smart city equipment, especially where devices sit on shared networks and need keys held in hardware. Every product takes 12-24 V DC through a DC jack or 4-pin ATX header, and AVerMedia lists CE, FCC and KC marks. Where Super Mode and TPM 2.0 are not needed, the D115W-1 series offers out-of-band and 4G/5G options on a 9-24 V DC input.
