DFI HPT171-CB-8645HS 6-Core AMD Ryzen 5 8645HS Mini-ITX Embedded Motherboard with Dual 2.5GbE and Quad Display

Digital signage walls, control desks and multi-screen kiosks often need four identical DisplayPort monitors rather than a mix of panel interfaces. The HPT171-CB-8645HS is the six-core, 45 W build in the DFI HPT171 series of Mini-ITX motherboards, with four DP++ outputs on the rear panel and no display module to add.

The AMD Ryzen 5 8645HS (Hawk Point) has six cores and 12 threads at 4.3 GHz base and up to 5.0 GHz boost, with a 45 W TDP configurable from 35 to 54 W. Its high base clock suits responsive single-application interfaces, and Radeon 760M graphics with RDNA3 cores handle 4K playback across the four screens. Two DDR5 SO-DIMM sockets take up to 96 GB at 4800 MHz.

Each DP++ output runs at up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz, and a dual-mode DP++ port can feed an HDMI or DVI monitor through a passive adapter. In place of the A-key display slot on the three-DP builds, this board has a vertical USB 2.0 Type-A port inside, making five internal USB 2.0 ports alongside two USB 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB 2.0 rear ports, which suits a license dongle kept inside the enclosure. Two Intel I226 2.5GbE ports, RS-232 and RS-232/422/485 on DB9, two TTL and two ccTalk headers, 8-bit DIO, a PCIe x16 slot with eight Gen4 lanes and an M.2 2280 socket for PCIe Gen4 x4 or SATA storage are shared with the rest of the series.
