MILBOX-AGX-32S Overview
Many defense and marine programs need AI vision and sensor processing on board without redesigning the wiring around it, so the computer has to speak serial, CAN and Ethernet and run from the existing 28 VDC supply. The MILBOX-AGX-32S is a military computer built by Forecr for that brief, combining the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 32GB module with the shared I/O and sealed enclosure of the MILBOX-AGX series.
The Jetson AGX Orin 32GB pairs its GPU with 32GB of 256-bit LPDDR5x memory, giving the MILBOX-AGX-32S capacity for object detection, video analytics and sensor fusion processed locally rather than in the cloud. Ubuntu Linux 20.04 with JetPack 5.x provides the NVIDIA software stack, installed on 64 GB of eMMC 5.1 flash.
Four Gigabit Ethernet ports carry camera and network traffic. Field I/O includes 2x CAN bus plus 4x RS-232 and 4x RS-422 serial ports, eight serial channels in total for radios, navigation units and older control equipment. Peripherals connect through 1x USB 3.1 and 2x USB 2.0, with a USB 2.0 serial console, and display output is 1x HDMI. An M.2 Key-M SSD slot adds NVMe storage alongside an SD card slot, and a 12-36 VDC input at 28 VDC nominal powers the system.
The ruggedized IP67 enclosure, with a MIL-DTL-38999 power connector and sealed circular I/O connectors, is designed to meet MIL-STD-1275/704, MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461, built to withstand extreme temperatures, shock and vibration, and the military computer operates from -25°C to +70°C with no wireless interface. Forecr lists defense, aerospace and marine among its target uses. For larger models, the MILBOX-AGX-64S moves to the Jetson AGX Orin 64GB with up to 275 TOPS in the same build as the MILBOX-AGX-32S.

Official Forecr USA Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Forecr USA distributor, covering Forecr's Jetson range from carrier boards to sealed rugged computers. The MILBOX-AGX-SDI builds on the same AGX Orin module family with SDI video capture for tactical systems, and the MILBOX-ORNX brings Orin NX and Orin Nano into a compact rugged enclosure for smaller vehicles and unmanned systems. For factory and cabinet work, the DSBOX-AGX offers AGX Orin in a fanless industrial enclosure without military sealing.
Across our catalog the MILBOX-AGX-32S appears among our Jetson CAN bus computers, thanks to its two CAN bus ports, and among our rugged Jetson computers built for shock and vibration. Its IP67 sealing also places it with our waterproof computers for decks, vehicle exteriors and other exposed positions. With 32GB of memory it brings AGX Orin compute and the full MILBOX-AGX interface set to vision and sensor tasks that do not need the 64GB module.
