Neu-X1025-N305 Overview
Signage with several content zones, live data and video on two screens at once asks more of a player than a simple slideshow. The Neu-X1025-N305 is the Intel Core i3-N305 model in the Nexcom Neu-X1025 series, a fanless digital signage player with eight cores, DDR5-4800, dual 4K HDMI and two 2.5GbE ports for menu boards, transit screens and kiosks.
The Intel Core i3-N305 is an 8-core, 8-thread Alder Lake-N processor with a 15 W TDP and Intel UHD Graphics, the most headroom in the Neu-X1025 range for multi-zone content and video. One DDR5-4800 non-ECC SO-DIMM socket takes up to 16 GB, and an M.2 2242 Key M socket takes a PCIe 3.0 x1 or SATA SSD. TPM 2.0 and a watchdog timer are on board, and Windows 11 or Linux (Ubuntu 22.04 or later) can be installed.
Two HDMI 1.4b outputs run at up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz beside two 2.5GbE ports on Intel i226-V controllers, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, the power button and a locking DC jack. An RS-232/422/485 port on DB9 sits on the other side with a remote power switch jack. Internally there are an RS-232 header, three USB 2.0 ports, audio line out and 4-in/4-out GPIO, and a full-size Mini PCIe slot with a nano SIM slot takes Wi-Fi 6/6E or LTE. The Neu-X102-i3 is the DDR4 version of this model, and the Neu-X1025-N97 is the quad-core N97 model.
Power is 12 V DC from the 60 W adapter in the box, with AT or ATX power modes, so the player can switch on by itself when power returns. The Neu-X1025-N305 is fanless and runs from −5 °C to 50 °C ambient with 0.7 m/s airflow. Shock is rated to IEC 60068-2-27 and vibration to IEC 60068-2-64 and IEC 60068-2-6, and it carries CE, FCC Class A and LVD marks with UL/cUL 62368-1 listing. Nexcom lists kiosks, QSRs, drive-thrus and PIDS among its uses.

Official NEXCOM USA Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Nexcom USA distributor, supplying the Neu-X1025-N305 configured, with the OS installed, and tested for USA retail and transport signage projects. Within the Nexcom range the NDiS B561 series steps up to 12th Gen Intel Core signage players with three HDMI outputs.
With eight cores and dual 4K HDMI, the Neu-X1025-N305 sits among our digital signage players, our fanless PCs and our Intel Processor N systems. Where a two-screen signage build must use DDR5 and needs the most cores in a small fanless case, this is the model to specify.
