NVIDIA Jetson TX2 NX Module NVIDIA Jetson TX2 NX 4GB Module with 1.33 TFLOPS and 260-Pin SO-DIMM

The Jetson TX2 NX Module is the SO-DIMM version in the NVIDIA Jetson TX2 series, with 1.33 TFLOPS from a 256-core Pascal GPU, 4 GB of LPDDR4 and 16 GB of eMMC on a 260-pin edge connector. NVIDIA lists it through July 2027, so it suits production and replacement in small TX2 NX vision and edge AI designs.

  • 260-Pin SO-DIMM Connector: The edge connector and form factor match the Jetson Nano and Xavier NX, unlike the 400-pin TX2 modules.
  • 1.33 TFLOPS Pascal GPU: 256 CUDA cores at up to 1.3 GHz give up to 1.33 TFLOPS for inference and video analytics.
  • 4GB LPDDR4 and 16GB eMMC: 128-bit LPDDR4 at up to 1600 MHz with 51.2 GB/s of bandwidth and 16 GB of eMMC 5.1.
  • 12 CSI Lanes: Up to three 4-lane or five 2-lane MIPI CSI-2 cameras at 2.5 Gb/s per lane for multi-camera builds.
  • Listed Through July 2027: NVIDIA lists the TX2 NX through July 2027; the Orin Nano and Orin NX share its form factor.

Jetson TX2 NX Module Overview

The TX2 NX brought TX2-class compute to the small SO-DIMM form factor, and many small cameras and DIN-rail computers still ship with it. The Jetson TX2 NX Module is the SO-DIMM version in the NVIDIA Jetson TX2 series, alongside the 400-pin Jetson TX2 Module, Jetson TX2 4GB and Jetson TX2i, and suits builds that need to keep the original module in production.

NVIDIA rates the Jetson TX2 NX at up to 1.33 TFLOPS from a 256-core Pascal GPU at up to 1.3 GHz, with two Denver 2 cores and four Cortex-A57 cores at up to 2 GHz. Memory is 4 GB of 128-bit LPDDR4 at up to 1600 MHz, giving 51.2 GB/s of bandwidth, with 16 GB of eMMC 5.1. The datasheet gives a 15 W supported power mode from a 5 V input, which keeps the carrier power design simple.

The 260-pin edge connector carries 12 MIPI CSI-2 lanes for up to three 4-lane or five 2-lane cameras, one USB 3.0 and three USB 2.0 ports, PCIe x2 plus x1 at Gen2, Gigabit Ethernet, one CAN interface and two eDP, DP or HDMI outputs.

NVIDIA lists the Jetson TX2 NX as available through July 2027, with an official end-of-life notice sent at least eight months before the last shipment. NVIDIA describes the Orin Nano and Orin NX as form-factor compatible with the TX2 NX, though not pin-compatible, so a carrier has to be designed for their common I/O. That makes the Orin Nano the usual next step for a TX2 NX product. Our Jetson TX2 end-of-life guide covers last-time-buy planning and migration.
