Premio DCO-1000-ASL Intel Amston Lake Atom DIN-Rail Industrial PCs with Quad 2.5GbE

Inside a control cabinet, space on the DIN rail is worth more than space on a shelf, and every extra box adds wiring. The Premio DCO-1000-ASL series is a family of fanless DIN-rail industrial PCs built to sit on the rail beside PLCs, I/O and power supplies, with enough Ethernet and digital I/O to replace a separate gateway and I/O module in many cabinets. The range was designed by C&T Solution, which became Premio Taiwan in January 2026.

Both DCO-1000-ASL models share one design. An Intel Atom x7000RE processor runs one DDR5 4800 SO-DIMM up to 16 GB with In-Band ECC, and the OS sits on an NVMe SSD in a PCIe x2 M.2 B-Key socket, with 128 GB fitted as standard. Four Intel I226 2.5GbE ports separate plant and office traffic, and the fourth port supports Time-Sensitive Networking. Two USB 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB 2.0 ports, two RS-232/422/485 COM ports, isolated DIO with four inputs and four outputs and two 4K DisplayPort 1.4 outputs sit on the front. A second B-Key socket with a dual nano-SIM takes an optional 4G or 5G module, an E-Key socket takes optional Wi-Fi, and CAN and out-of-band management are optional.

The two models differ by processor. The DCO-1000-ASL-X7433RE uses the four-core 9 W Atom x7433RE, a good fit for low-power control, protocol conversion and data logging. The DCO-1000-ASL-X7835RE uses the eight-core 12 W Atom x7835RE for cabinets that run several services on one box, such as data collection alongside a local HMI or vision task. Both keep the same I/O, power input and DIN-rail and wall-mount kits.

In practice the DCO-1000-ASL series suits control cabinets in factory automation, machine vision cells and light industrial sites. Every model runs fanless from -40 °C to 55 °C on 9 to 36 V DC with AT and ATX modes, is designed to comply with MIL-STD-810H for shock and vibration, and is UL listed to UL 61010-1 and UL 61010-2-201 with CE, FCC Class A, UKCA and ICES-003. Premio designs and builds in Greater Los Angeles, where it has worked since 1989, with engineering in Taipei and ISO 9001 manufacturing quality.
