Premio RCO-6000-ADL-4L Intel Alder Lake Core Fanless Rugged Industrial Computer with 6x Gigabit LAN

Machine cells usually end up with several networks: cameras, controllers, a safety segment and the plant uplink. The RCO-6000-ADL-4L is the Intel Alder Lake Core fanless rugged industrial computer with 6x Gigabit LAN in the Premio RCO-6000-ADL series, and it gives each of those networks its own port.

Under the RCO-6000-ADL-4L sits an LGA1700 socket on the Intel R680E chipset, which takes 12th and 13th Gen Intel Core processors at 35 W or 65 W, from Core i3 to Core i9-13900E, plus Pentium G7400E and Celeron G6900E. Two DDR5 SODIMM sockets hold up to 64 GB at up to 5600 MHz with ECC support, and Intel UHD Graphics drives DVI-I plus two DisplayPort outputs for three screens. A Core i5 or i7 is usually enough for the RCO-6000-ADL-4L, which mostly routes and pre-processes traffic.

One EDGEBoost I/O bracket on the RCO-6000-ADL-4L carries a four-port Intel I350 GbE module on RJ45, alongside the two onboard 2.5GbE ports, with the second bracket free. The rest of the I/O is common to the range: two Intel I226 2.5GbE ports with TSN, six RS-232/422/485 ports, 8 in/8 out isolated DIO, two CAN 2.0 A/B headers, eight USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and two 2.5 inch bays, one removable, with RAID 0 and 1.

Power comes in at 9 to 48 V DC on a 5-pin terminal block with ignition management, a PC/Car mode switch and protection against over-voltage, over-current and reverse polarity. Premio rates the RCO-6000-ADL-4L fanless from -25 °C to 70 °C with 35 W processors or -25 °C to 60 °C at 65 W, and lists CE and FCC Class A. If the ports need to power cameras, the RCO-6000-ADL-4P uses a PoE module instead, and the RCO-6000-ADL-4LM12 moves the four ports to M12.
