IBOX-600-ON4 Overview
Not every edge AI job needs a large module: counting, classification and sensor fusion often run comfortably on an entry Jetson. The IBOX-600-ON4 is the Jetson Orin Nano 4GB build of the Sintrones IBOX-600 series, a compact rugged embedded PC that keeps the full industrial I/O set on standard RJ-45 and terminal-block connectors.
The Jetson Orin Nano 4GB module provides 512 CUDA cores and 16 Tensor Cores on the NVIDIA Ampere architecture, a 6-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU at 1.5 GHz and 4 GB of 64-bit LPDDR5. JetPack 6.2 Super Mode is supported for extra headroom. Sintrones measured 27.36 W at a 24 V input with the module in its 10 W mode, and under 10 W at idle on a 12 V supply.
On the IBOX-600-ON4, the 2.5GbE port and the GbE port use standard RJ-45 sockets, and the 9-60 V DC input arrives on a 3-pin terminal block with a dedicated ignition pin, which keeps cabling simple in cabinets and equipment bays. Two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports share 10 Gbps, and three DB-9 ports carry CAN FD, RS-232/422/485 and four digital inputs with four outputs, alongside HDMI with 4K output. Inside, an M.2 Key B slot with a Nano SIM takes an LTE or 5G modem, an M.2 Key E slot takes Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, a full-size mPCIe slot takes a GPS module, and an M.2 2280 NVMe SSD holds the OS.
The fanless aluminum enclosure measures 150 x 135 x 69 mm and weighs 1.37 kg, with DIN-rail and wall mounting. It operates from -25 °C to 70 °C ambient with 0.6 m/s airflow, is tested to IEC 60068-2-64 and MIL-STD-810G for vibration and shock, and is compliant with EN 50155, EN 45545-2 (R25) and E-Mark. When models need more than 4 GB, the IBOX-600-ON8 doubles module memory on the same connectors. The IBOX-600-ON4 is a rugged embedded PC for low-power inference.

Official Sintrones USA Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Sintrones USA distributor, and Sintrones covers both Jetson and x86 embedded computing for transport and industry. For development ahead of deployment, the IMB-600 is a Mini-ITX developer kit carrying the Jetson Orin NX. Where an x86 build is preferred, the SBOX-2624 offers AMD Ryzen Embedded R2312 embedded box PCs with EN 50155 compliance.
Elsewhere in our catalog, the IBOX-600-ON4 sits with our AI edge computers as the entry module tier, and its 150 mm, 1.37 kg footprint places it among our compact rugged PCs. Fanless operation from -25 °C to 70 °C also suits it to our wide-temperature PCs for unheated kiosks, cabinets and roadside enclosures.
