SolidRun Bedrock V3000 AMD Ryzen Embedded V3C48 Fanless Industrial Edge Computer with Dual 10GbE SFP+ and 4x 2.5GbE

Networking, data handling and virtualized workloads at the edge often have to run where there is no rack, only a cabinet, a DIN rail or a wall. The SolidRun BEDROCK V3000 BASIC is a fanless industrial edge computer for those sites. It is the networking and ECC model in the SolidRun Bedrock range: where the BEDROCK R8000 and RAI300 add displays and AI acceleration, the BEDROCK V3000 BASIC runs headless and puts its I/O into network ports.

Compute comes from the AMD Ryzen Embedded V3000 family: the V3C48 at 45 W or the V3C18I at 15 W, both with eight Zen 3+ cores and 16 threads up to 3.8 GHz. Two DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM sockets take ECC or non-ECC memory, up to 96 GB in SolidRun’s current specification. The main NVMe PCIe Gen4 x4 SSD is available with power loss protection, such as a 960 GB Micron 7450, and the optional SX 4M2 board adds two more NVMe drives. Memory and drives are conduction cooled into the enclosure.

The NIO V3000 Basic board gives two native 10GbE SFP+ ports, which take fiber or copper modules (see SFP+ vs RJ45 for 10GbE), plus four 2.5GbE ports on Intel I226 controllers. There are three USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and one USB 2.0, and a mini-USB serial console for BIOS and setup, as the V3000 has no display output. The SX 4M2 board also carries Wi-Fi 6E and an LTE or 5G modem.

Three enclosures are available: the 60W (73 mm wide) for the V3C48, the 30W (45 mm) for the V3C18I, and the 29 mm Tile for either, cooled into a cold plate or chassis wall. The BEDROCK V3000 BASIC runs from 12 to 24 V DC, or 12 to 60 V with the PM 1260 module, and builds are rated 0 to 70 °C or -40 to 85 °C. SolidRun’s warranty is three years.
