Vecow EPBC-2000 2.5″ Pico-ITX SBC with Intel Atom x7211RE, Dual 2.5GbE and 4K HDMI

Drones, gates and compact controllers need a computer that fits a very small space yet moves data quickly over the network. The EPBC-2000 is Vecow’s ultra-slim 2.5 inch Pico-ITX SBC for that job: a 100 x 72 mm board with an Intel Atom x7211RE, DDR5 memory with in-band ECC and two 2.5GbE ports.

The Intel Atom x7211RE is a dual-core processor with Intel UHD Graphics, and one DDR5 4800 SO-DIMM socket takes up to 16 GB with in-band ECC, which helps protect data in long-running systems. One HDMI 2.0 output reaches 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz, and Vecow supports OpenVINO-based AI accelerators and edge AI applications on this board.

Networking is two 2.5GbE ports on Realtek RTL8125BI-CG controllers. I/O covers two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two USB 2.0 on a header, two RS-232/422/485 headers, a 10-pin GPIO header and an audio header for mic-in and line-out. Storage is a SATA III port and an M.2 Key B socket (2280, 3042 or 3052) shared with expansion, which also takes 5G or 4G modules with the SIM slot, and an M.2 Key E 2230 socket takes Wi-Fi. The EPBC-1000 is the Elkhart Lake model with DDR4 and dual GbE.

Power is 12 V DC on a 2-pin connector. The EPBC-2000 operates from -40 to 70 °C with air flow, stores from -40 to 85 °C and handles 5 to 95% humidity, non-condensing, with a heat sink accessory available. A watchdog timer, Wake on LAN, PXE and hardware monitoring are on board, and it carries CE, FCC and ICES marks. It measures 100 x 72 mm and supports Windows 11, Windows 10 and Linux.
