FCCW15L100-OFA2HB Overview
Kiosks and information screens placed behind glass or near entrances compete with daylight, and a standard panel can look washed out. The W15L100-OFA2HB is Winmate’s 15.6 inch high brightness open frame monitor for those sites: a 1300 nit 1366 x 768 LCD in a fanless open metal frame, with resistive touch, SAW touch or protection glass as options.
The panel has a 500:1 contrast ratio, 16.7 million colors and viewing angles of 170° horizontally and 160° vertically, and at 1300 nits it keeps content readable in strong ambient light. Resistive touch works by pressure, so it responds to gloved fingers and a stylus, and SAW touch is offered as the alternative. Either option connects over USB. The active area measures 344.232 x 195.536 mm.
Video comes in on a VGA input, and HDMI or DVI can be specified as options, along with a 3.5 mm audio line-in with two speakers. A five-key on-screen display menu sits on the rear. For indoor lighting the W15L100-OFA2 is the 400 nit version of this frame, and the W18L100-OFA2HB offers a 1000 nit open frame at 18.5 inches.
The W15L100-OFA2HB runs on 12 V DC, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter supplied, and operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, with storage from -10 °C to 60 °C. The frame measures 366.3 x 248 x 40 mm and fixes by 75 x 75 or 100 x 100 mm VESA holes or panel mounting, and the monitor carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate supplies VGA and HDMI cables, an AC adapter, a power cord and VESA screws with the monitor.
