Winmate W24L100-RKS1ML 24″ Rack Mount Defense Monitor with 1920 x 1200 AR Glass and BNC Inputs

Defense consoles often mix older sensors that output analog RGBHV with newer computers on DVI, and the monitor in the rack has to take both. The W24L100-RKS1ML is Winmate’s 24 inch rack mount defense monitor: a fanless 1920 x 1200 display behind AR protection glass, with a built-in light sensor, BNC and DVI inputs and a defence-grade power connector.

The 16:10 panel runs at 1920 x 1200 with 300 nits brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 178° viewing angles in both directions, showing 16.7 million colors. The AR protection glass cuts reflections from overhead lighting, and the light sensor adjusts brightness automatically as the room changes. EMI ITO glass is an option, and 5-wire resistive touch, with or without an EMI mesh filter, can be specified where operators need to touch the screen.

Video comes in on one 15-pin D-Sub VGA, five BNC connectors for RGBHV and one DVI-D, with a VGA to five-BNC shielded cable in the box. A seven-key panel on the bezel handles power, brightness, menu, auto adjust, day/night mode and a lock for the controls. For a larger picture in the same protective glass style, the W32L100-RKA3ML is the 32 inch model, and the W32L100-MLA3FP adds PCAP touch at 32 inches.

Power is 100 to 240 V AC universal on a MIL-DTL-38999/1 defence-grade connector, with 9 to 36 V DC as an ordering option for vehicle and shelter supplies. Winmate lists compliance with MIL-STD-810G methods for vibration (514.6), humidity (507.4) and transit drop (516.5) and with MIL-STD-461 emissions and susceptibility tests including RE101/RE102, CE101/CE102 and RS101/RS103. The monitor measures 609.5 x 399.3 x 76.2 mm, operates from 0 to 50 °C at 10 to 95% humidity and carries CE and FCC marks. It rack mounts on its handles, fits a 562 x 387 mm cut-out or takes a VESA arm.
