Arestech TPM-3215 15" XGA Industrial Touch Monitors with IP54 Panel Mount and PCAP or Resistive Touch

Many machine and kiosk builds need a plain, reliable touch screen that fits a cut-out, takes a VGA feed from the controller and runs from the same 12 or 24 V supply as the rest of the panel. The Arestech TPM-3215 series is built for that: a family of 15 inch industrial touch monitors with a 300 nit 4:3 XGA LCD at 1024 x 768, a 600:1 contrast ratio and 160° viewing angles horizontally and vertically, rated IP54 so dust and splashing water stay out when the monitor sits in a cabinet door or kiosk front.

Every TPM-3215 shares the same build. Video arrives on a single VGA input, power is 12 to 24 V DC from a single source on a two-pin Phoenix terminal block, drawing 10.1 W typical, and the 15″ monitor measures 364.6 x 290.6 x 39.8 mm for a 346 x 272 mm panel cut-out, with 75 x 75 and 100 x 100 mm VESA holes as an alternative. It operates from -20 °C to 60 °C at 5 to 95% humidity and is vibration-tested from 5 to 500 Hz at 2.16 Grms.

The TPM-3215 series splits on touch. The TPM-3215P uses a projected capacitive touch screen with a 7 Mohs surface and 90% transparency, connected over USB, for multi-touch bare-finger operation. The TPM-3215R uses a 5-wire resistive touch screen with a 3 Mohs surface, 80% transparency and a rating of 10 million touches, connected over USB or RS-232, which suits gloved operators and older controllers with a serial touch interface. Both models share the same cut-out and mounting, so a machine range can standardize on one panel and choose the touch technology per customer.
