Arestech TPM-3515RW 15.6" Resistive Industrial Touch Monitors with Front IP65 Aluminum Bezel

A widescreen HMI on a machine door or a kiosk front has to cope with splashes and cleaning as well as daily use, and it needs the inputs to match whatever computer drives it. The Arestech TPM-3515RW series covers both: a family of 15.6 inch industrial touch monitors with a resistive touch screen behind an aluminum front bezel sealed to IP65, and VGA, DisplayPort and HDMI inputs. Resistive touch keeps working with gloves on, which suits operators on machine lines and in plant rooms.

Every TPM-3515RW shares the same build. The resistive touch screen has a 3 Mohs surface and 80% transparency and connects over USB, and power is 12 to 24 V DC from a single source on a two-pin terminal block, drawing 14.7 W typical, with a 50 W adapter available for mains sites. The 15.6″ monitor measures 406.6 x 261.8 x 53.2 mm and weighs 3.7 kg, fits a 392 x 244.5 mm cut-out in panels up to 7 mm thick with the ten supplied screws, and has 75 x 75 and 100 x 100 mm VESA holes. Both models share the same enclosure, cut-out and connections, so a machine range can standardize on one panel and choose the resolution per customer.

The TPM-3515RW series splits on the panel. The TPM-3515RW-1A2 uses a 1366 x 768 HD LCD at 300 nits with a 500:1 contrast ratio and 160° viewing angles, and the TPM-3515RW-2A2 a 1920 x 1080 full HD LCD at 450 nits with an 800:1 contrast ratio and 170° viewing angles, for sharper text and brighter surroundings, which suits dashboards with dense text and trend charts.

The series operates from -20 °C to 60 °C and stores from -40 °C to 90 °C, is vibration-tested from 5 to 500 Hz at 2.16 Grms and carries CE and FCC Class A marks. Arestech names industrial HMI displays, ATMs and self-service kiosks, vending and ticketing machines, point-of-information terminals and machine automation as the target applications.
