Neousys POC-600 Intel Atom x7425E Ultra-Compact Embedded Computers with 3x 2.5GbE

Control cabinets fill up quickly, and a computer that takes the width of three terminal blocks is easier to place than one that needs its own shelf. The POC-600 is the Neousys answer for that space: a fanless unit 56 mm wide that clips to a DIN rail, with front-facing I/O and the same footprint as the earlier POC-400 and POC-300, so existing cabinet layouts carry over. That makes the POC-600 an easy upgrade path for sites already running the older units, and a tidy choice for new panels where every centimeter of rail is allocated before the computer is chosen.

Every POC-600 uses the Intel Atom x7425E, four cores at 1.5 GHz base and 3.4 GHz burst within 12 W, with one DDR5-4800 SODIMM up to 16 GB, Intel UHD Graphics with 24 EUs and dTPM 2.0. Neousys quotes up to 1.5 times the CPU performance of previous Atom designs, along with higher memory bandwidth from DDR5. Three 2.5GbE ports by Intel I226-IT, four USB 3.2 ports with screw-lock (two Gen2 and two Gen1) and dual HDMI 1.4b outputs at 3840 x 2160 give these compact embedded computers more connectivity than most units of their size. Storage is one M.2 2280 SATA socket, and the MezIO interface accepts Neousys modules for isolated DIO, ignition control, extra serial ports or wireless.

Two models make up the series. The POC-600 supplies 802.3at PoE+ on two of its three 2.5GbE ports, with a 50 W maximum budget, or 30 W in UL-certified configuration, for cameras and sensors. The POC-610 keeps all three 2.5GbE ports without PoE for networks where devices have their own power.

Both POC-600 models share one software-programmable RS-232/422/485 port plus three RS-232 ports or one RS-422/485, an audio jack and an 8 to 35 V DC terminal block. They run fanless from -25 °C to 70 °C, with MIL-STD-810H vibration and shock, CE and FCC Class A, and UL 62368-1 and IEC 62368-1 safety. The 56 x 108 x 153 mm unit weighs 0.98 kg and mounts on a DIN rail as standard or on a wall with an optional kit.
